Data We Collect

1. Inquiry and order data: your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, company name, delivery country and address, and any project or order notes you give us.
2. Transaction data: the order, invoice and shipping records needed to fulfil and document a sale, including customs information required at the destination.
3. Technical data: the IP address, browser type and request logs generated when you use the site.
4. Preferences: your chosen language and currency, kept in your browser (see Cookies below).

Payment Card Data

Card payments are processed by a licensed payment institution (for example iyzico) on its own secure payment page. Belithos does not receive, see or store your card number, expiry date or security code.

Why We Process Data, and On What Basis

We process personal data to prepare quotations and proforma invoices, conclude and perform sales contracts, arrange delivery and customs clearance, keep accounting records, answer your enquiries and protect the security of the site. The legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests (KVKK Article 5/2 and GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f)), and your consent where we ask for it, for example to send our newsletter, which you may withdraw at any time.

Sharing and International Transfers

We share personal data only as needed to deliver your order and run the service: with logistics partners (DHL, FedEx), payment institutions, customs authorities, our professional advisers, and technology providers that host the site and its database. We do not sell or rent personal data. Because our customers and carriers are located worldwide, data may be transferred outside Turkey or the European Economic Area; where this happens we rely on the safeguards provided by KVKK Article 9 and GDPR Chapter V.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose requires and as long as the law requires — for example, accounting and invoice records are retained for the periods set by Turkish commercial and tax law — after which the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights

Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR Articles 15–22 you may ask whether we process your data, request access to it, ask for correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability where it applies, and withdraw consent. Write to info@belithos.com or to the registered address above; we reply within thirty (30) days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK) or to your local EU supervisory authority.

Cookies and Local Storage

belithos.com uses only functional storage in your browser: your language choice (belithos.lang) and currency choice (belithos.currency), so the site remembers them on your next visit. We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings; the site will then fall back to its defaults.

Security and 256-Bit SSL Encryption

All traffic between your browser and belithos.com is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Access to personal data is restricted to the staff and providers who need it, and payment card details are handled only by the payment institution and never touch our servers. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure; if a data breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.
